Access unifi controller how to#
Please tell me how to log a technical support because I cannot find a way in KTS. For example, if I try to open the Unifi Controller local host URL on Edge browser it says “Hmmm.can’t reach this page”. As I said above the “This site can’t be reached” is displayed on Chrome and it is the default message when the browser simply cannot find and reach the URL. I tried turning it off and even added the URL to the trusted URL list and the exception list but it did not fix the issue. I have turned off but it does not make any difference. I removed the extension and the issue still persists. I had the extension installed and the issue happened. In fact, I have just tried it again and it did not fix the issue. I only realised it when I tried to access the Unifi Controller on Chrome about a month ago.
Access unifi controller software#
I have Unifi Security Gateway as my router then Unifi switch and Wifi access points at home and Ubiquiti Unifi Controller is the software (or should I say a UI) that can manage and control the network hardwares. I think you misunderstood the whole thing. If I open the Ubiquiti Unifi Controller there is a button called “Launch a Browser to Manage the Network” and it opens the web brower with URL.
Access unifi controller license#
If this doesn’t get resolved, I would have to seriously consider changing to a different software after my current license expires. I also added the IP address (or the localhost one) to the “Trusted URLs” list but it did not make any difference either.Ĭan anyone please help me with this because I do not wish to turn off Kaspersky everytime I need to access the controller. I read this could be due to the firewall but changing the firewall setting (tried the method on this page but didn’t work ) or even turning off the Karspersky firewall does not resolve this issue. But now it simply says “The site can’t be reached”. The cause of the issue is clear because I can open the controller with no issue when I turn off the Kaspersky Total Security.īefore this issue started happening the broswer would warn me that it might not be safe to proceed but it at least gave me an option to go ahead to open the Unifi Controller. I’m a long time customer and currently using Total Security I recently came to realise that I am no longer able to open Unifi Controller on Chrome or any other web browser I have (Edge, Firefox and etc.) Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool для Бизнеса 11.Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business 45.
Kaspersky Small Office Security & Management Console 88.Virus and Ransomware related questions 80.When that fails and you are rebuilding the network again from scratch yet again, take copious notes. This sounds like borrowing trouble but it is the most simple of tests that everyone (including me, and including Unifi) should have done before releasing this crap on the world. Then, next week, take a backup and restore it. Rebuilding from scratch is (believe it or not) less painful than fighting with the half fucked state a restore puts it in. My suggestion here is try restoring your backup, and when it doesn't work just give up and burn it down. Controller and devices don't all agree on which vlan means what on the wire, so dhcp is handed out wrong, "isolation" between networks is a joke, firewall isn't working (even with blanket-allow, some connections are permitted, others aren't) and even pinging the gateway from an untagged direct connected device results in >90% packet loss. The "smarts" has gone legitimately insane. I've been down 3 days and counting after restoring a backup and support has gone silent for 24 hours now.
